Oral Surgery
In cases where a tooth or root requires extraction, unless it is very straightforward, it will normally be undertaken as an oral surgery procedure. Sedation, administered by an anaesthetist, is a facility we can readily provide as well as being one we encourage, particularly in preference to a general anaesthetic with it's associated risks and logistics. In the case of more complex cases, such as wisdom teeth, treatment may involve techniques requiring dissolving sutures (stitches) to be placed.
